Mireille Oude Lansink, Sales Director, pictured above with Joachim WrangWidén, Christie’s Senior Vice President for Europe, Africa and Middle East, said she had enjoyed immensely her week-long trip to the Conference, where she met many other Affiliates, VP’s, Chief Officers, Directors, and Christie’s Departmental Managers, from whom she was able to learn a great deal and exchange ideas.
Joachim Wrang-Widén, of Christie’s (above left), welcoming the company to its network of Affiliates, explaining that the new, joint Company will provide the high-quality service that is synonymous with Christie’s International Real Estate. He said there were many reasons for Christie’s decision: the great climate, international interest from the wealthy in the UK, Germany, Belgium, Italy, and Russia, direct flights to/from Florida, the foothold the Islands give into Africa , and the Canarian Government’s strategy, which would see the Islands’ profile change beyond recognition. Tourism councillor for Adeje, Rafael Dolado, welcomed the news as a great opportunity for economic growth and a huge boost for Costa Adeje. If ever the Canarian Government wanted international recognition that its strategy was working, this, surely, was it!
